Back in the 1950's some
daring skydivers out in California learned how to control their
bodies in flight. They invented a stable "belly to earth" body
position which would let the skydiver perform simple in flight tasks
(look at the photo at the top left of this page, that's a nice,
stable belly to earth body position.) Recently the sport has
evolved into 3 basic disciplines: belly flying, sit flying and head
down. The picture (right, above) is head down. The
camera man and subject are both head down and heading for the planet
at about 180 mph.

darkside!
